IMPROVING MATHS FOR YOUR FUTURE – LEVEL 1 COURSE ASSESSMENT SESSION
Course details:
The Millin Charity is hosting a new programme for women in Gateshead to improve their maths skills and to progress into further learning or employment. This programme has been designed to support women who find that not having a formal maths qualification is a barrier in preventing them to move into employment or training.
As part of this programme, participants will have access to a 6-week course – ‘Improving Maths for your Future’ – where they will gain a level 1 accredited certificate, create a plan for their next steps and take part in activities to improve their maths skills.
Participants will also receive one-to-one tutoring and guidance to support them on their journey.
SESSION DATES:
Assessment Session: Wednesday 27th September 10am-12pm
Course Start Date: Wednesday 4th October 10am-12.30pm
Course End Date: Wednesday 15th November 10am-12pm
Duration: 6 x 2.5 hour weekly sessions

- This course is available to women who living in Gateshead
- Please make sure you book your place in advance so that we are aware of how many people will be attending.
- We will be maintaining social distancing in line with Government guidelines.
