This short course supports women who are at the early stages of setting up their own business. Over 2 sessions, we will cover the following areas;
- What costs am I allowed to claim against my business?
- Costs which businesses are allowed to claim for
- How and when do I pay any tax?
- Self Assessment Tax Returns and informing HMRC
- What is VAT and does it apply to my business?
- What VAT is; how it works and when to VAT register
- What types of funding can I get access to?
- Funding & Investors
- What software is available to help my business and give me more time?
- Types of software
- What is the best business structure for me?
- Sole Trader / Partnership / Ltd company & legal requirements
This short course will be delivered by Harris 21 Accountancy Business.

Duration: 2 sessions @ 1.5 hours per session
