This short course supports women who are at the early stages of setting up their own business. Over 2 sessions, we will cover the following areas;

  • What costs am I allowed to claim against my business?
    • Costs which businesses are allowed to claim for
  • How and when do I pay any tax?
    • Self Assessment Tax Returns and informing HMRC
  • What is VAT and does it apply to my business?
    • What VAT is; how it works and when to VAT register
  • What types of funding can I get access to?
    • Funding & Investors
  • What software is available to help my business and give me more time?
    • Types of software
  • What is the best business structure for me?
    • Sole Trader / Partnership / Ltd company & legal requirements

This short course will be delivered by Harris 21 Accountancy Business.

Course Information:

Duration: 2 sessions @ 1.5 hours per session

Course Dates: Tuesday 7th June & Tuesday 14th June 10am-11.30am
