SETTING UP YOUR SERVICE BUSINESS – LEVEL 1 ACCREDITED TRAINING

Course Details:
Are you in the process of setting up a business providing a specialist service? This might include hairdressing, health & beauty, tailoring, catering, cleaning business, tutoring & education, etc. This course supports women who are at the early stages of setting up their own business to go through the key steps to help them to achieve their goals.
This 8 week course will cover the following areas;
- Market research and what works for you
- Identifying competitors
- Looking at costs associated with your business and working out how much to charge customers
- Methods of marketing and ways you can promote your service
- Health & Safety considerations including risk assessments and insurance
- Registering with HMRC
- Planning – you will look at how to action plan for each stage of your enterprise development
- How to pitch your business to others
Course Information:
Duration: 8 sessions @ 3 hours per session
Assessment & Enrolment: Friday 13th May 2022 9.30am – 11.30am
Course Dates: Friday 20th May 9.30am-12.30pm continuing weekly until 15th July 2022 (no session during half term)
Location: Local Women Local Enterprise Gateshead Hub, Greenesfield Business Centre, Mulgrave Terrace, Gateshead
This course is Level 1 Accredited by NOCN. Participants must attend all sessions to receive an accredited certificate.
