Course Details:
Our Local Women Local Enterprise project supports women to set up their own businesses. This 3 week Confidence Building for Business Course will Course will cover the following:
Session 1: Understanding your Business
By the end of this session participants will be able to;
- Describe the business clearly and positively
- Articulate the value of the product/service to clients
Session 2: Managing Challenges and Standing your Ground
By the end of this session participants will be able to;
- Exercise assertiveness and manage conflict
- Respond to challenges expertly and confidently
Session 3: Confidence in Networking and Selling
By the end of this session participants will be able to;
- Prepare effectively for networking and selling opportunities
- Respond confidently and appropriately to opportunities
Session Dates:
Session 1: Thursday 23rd January 2025 10.00am-12.30pm
Session 2: Thursday 30th January 2025 10.00am-12.30pm
Session 3: Thursday 6th February 2025 10.00am-12.30pm

- This course is available to women who live in Newcastle, Gateshead, North Tyneside & Northumberland.
- This course is fully funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund – eligibility criteria may apply.
