DESCRIPTION:Course Details:\nThe Choose Your Future Employment Programme has been designed to support women to increase their skills\, confidence and move into employment. \nThis course will help you to identify the types of job roles that might be suitable for you and how to pursue them. Through this course\, you will be supported to improve your confidence\, explore your talents\, skills and strengths\, identify potential barriers and make a plan to enable you to overcome them and move forward on your journey. \nCourse Outline \n\nAn introduction to the course and motivational activities\nReflecting on your experiences & thinking about what you’d like to do next\n Identifying personal strengths and potential barriers\n Identifying opportunities for progression\n Pursuing opportunities and exploring the process for your next steps\n Applying for opportunities e.g. college\, jobs\, volunteering\nSMART goals and preparing for your next steps\n\n\n\nSession Dates:\nIntro Session: Tuesday 5th May  2026 12.30-2.30pm \nCourse Start Date: Tuesday 12th May 2026  12.15-2.45pm \nCourse End Date: Tuesday 9th June 2026  12.15-2.45pm \nno session 26th May for Half term \nDuration: 4 x 2.5 hour sessions (not including intro session) \nLocation:  Local Women Local Enterprise Gateshead Hub\, Greenesfield Business Centre\, Mulgrave Terrace\, Gateshead\, NE8 1PQ \n\n\n\n\n\nSome useful information …\n\nThis course is available to women who live in Gateshead.\nThis course is fully funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund – eligibility criteria may apply.\nPlease make sure you book your place in advance so that we are aware of how many people will be attending.\nIf you are unable to attend this course\, please get in touch and we will put you on the waiting list for future courses.\nClick here to book your place
