Meet Wendi

Wendi was unemployed and spent most of her time at home caring for family. Wendi wanted to be more financially independent so decided to join The Millin Charity’s enterprise programme to start exploring ways to do this.

Wendi attended a variety of business workshops and courses and was able to launch her own cleaning business. Alongside this, Wendi studied Flower Arranging at a local college which lead to her launching ‘Hello Petal’, her own florist business.

“I have loved being part of The Millin Charity and learning so many invaluable skills. I have also befriended many women from a variety of cultural backgrounds who have become treasured friends. It has been a great pleasure to have been given such a wonderful opportunity and to watch each woman involved become more confident and to share our journeys together.
