We run a regular and varied programme of workshops, in the main led by volunteer female entrepreneurs who are specialists in their own fields. These workshops take two forms (and sometimes combine to cover both outcomes):
- ‘Sharing Enterprise Skills’ workshops that add depth to the more structured enterprise-based learning, by sharing knowledge in the specifics of running a business – examples have included setting up a shop on ebay, how to develop a logo on a shoestring, doing business on facebook and visual merchandising techniques;
- ‘Inspiring Others’ workshops through which women share their own experience of running a business and the journey they took to get there. These workshops serve to inspire and motivate participants, and usually end with an open discussion during which women have the chance to ask questions, within the group or on a one to one basis.
