Mentoring for women has been fundamental to the success of the Local Women Local Enterprise learning and development programme, because mentoring sessions lead to:

• Effective development plans which are personalised to address women’s specific goals and barriers;
• Active referrals to additional and alternative sources of support both within the charity and across our partner network;
• Continual progress towards financial independence and enabling women to overcome barriers they may face on their journey.
