Course Details:
Through our Digital Skills Project, Connecting Together, we are providing a range of courses and workshops to support women to improve their skills and confidence with using digital devices.
Our ‘Everyday Digital Skills’ Course will support women to improve their skills and confidence with using digital devices to complete everyday tasks.
Course Content
- Understanding basic internet safety
- Downloading apps
- Sending & receiving emails
- Researching the internet for information online
- Using search functions
- Social media – an overview
- Shopping online
- Booking GP appointments online
- Connecting with others online
- Accessing online training
- Supporting children with homework (bbc bitesize)
Session Dates:
Start Date: Wednesday 30th September 2026
End Date: Wednesday 11th November 2026
Time: 12.30-2.30pm
Duration: 6 x 2-hour sessions (no session 28th Oct 2026 for half term)
Location: Local Women Local Enterprise Newcastle Hub, Condercum House, 171 West Road, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE15 6PQ

- This course is available to women who live in Newcastle & Gateshead.
- The Millin Charity Hubs are a women only space
