Course Details:
Our Local Women Local Enterprise project supports women to set up their own businesses. This 4-week course will cover how to get the best out of canva for your business. This Course will cover:
- Canva functions
- Creating a logo
- Flyers & posters
- Editing photos
- Using Canva as part of your everyday marketing
Participants will also have access to one-to-one advice and guidance alongside this course.
Participants are advised to bring with them their own device (smart phone, tablet or laptop) where they can access Canva via the app or browser. If you need to borrow a device during the course, please speak to a member of staff prior to the course start date.
Session Dates:
Start Date: Wednesday 21st January 2026 12.30-3.00pm
End Date: Wednesday 11th February 2026 12.30-3.00pm
Duration: 4 x 2.5 hour workshops
Location: Local Women Local Enterprise Gateshead Hub

- This course is available to women who live in Newcastle, Gateshead, North Tyneside & Northumberland
- This workshop is fully funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund with the Gateshead Council as the lead.
- The Millin Charity Hubs are a women only space
- Please make sure you book your place in advance so that we are aware of how many people will be attending.
