The Millin Charity, a charitable organisation based in the West End of Newcastle, has been shortlisted for funding to deepen and broaden the impact we can have by helping local people to get further by working together.

We’ve been shortlisted for the NatWest Skills & Opportunities Fund for our #AChanceToTrade project. This funding will enable us to help at least 60 unemployed local women to achieve their dream of becoming financially independent. They’ll be able to participate in our accredited Local Women Local Enterprise enterprise-based training alongside an amazing, supportive community of women. Then, if they choose to set up their own business, we’ll be able to offer intensive, personalised support, coaching and learning opportunities to get them actively trading.

With your vote 60 women could get #ACHANCETOTRADE to transform their own and their families’ lives through earning their own money, sometimes for the very first time.

Thank you so much for voting!
